I went for a hike/walk with my dad today in the Slayton-Settlement park. It was nice. We sort of got off the trail at some point. He wanted to see some building that he'd seen before but had never gone up to. It's in the middle of the woods and there doesn't seem to be any path leading to it, it's simply there. When we got to it there were doors inside it, rusted off at the hinges. The foundation was solid (according to him, he's in construction so he would know) and he thought it might have at one time been an outdoorsmen shed of some sort. Maybe where they went to sleep when they were out hunting for a weekend or something. In any case it made the trip a bit longer, we crossed a creek and it was really pretty out there. I think I'll be going back alone sometime.

I also decided... later on... to go to Lake Ontario for the sunset. I got a couple of pictures and played with the light settings on those ones. We'll see how they turned out.
